Sleep Support

Quality sleep is so important for the healthy development and well-being of babies and children. Adequate and restful sleep is essential for their growth, cognitive function, and emotional regulation. Many parents face challenges when it comes to their child's sleep, such as difficulties falling asleep, frequent night awakenings, or inconsistent sleep patterns.

As a certified pediatric sleep consultant, Hannah from the Baby Mama team, specializes in understanding the unique sleep needs of young babies and children and provides guidance and support to parents throughout the process of sleep support. Hannah works closely with families to assess the child's sleep patterns, identify any underlying issues or concerns, and develop personalized sleep plans tailored to the child's needs and the family's preferences. These plans often involve strategies for creating a consistent bedtime routine, promoting self-soothing skills, and addressing any environmental factors that may be affecting sleep.

There are a few common reasons parents hire a sleep consultant for their children and babies. Many parents struggle with bedtime battles, night awakenings, sleep regressions, transitioning their child from a crib to a bed, or dealing with daytime nap challenges. These disruptions can leave both children and parents feeling exhausted and frustrated. A sleep consultant can provide strategies to help children with these transitions, self-soothe and return to sleep independently.

Consultants may offer a variety of services, including in-person consultations, phone or video consultations, and follow-up support to help families implement and adjust their sleep plans as needed. Their goal is to empower parents with the knowledge and tools they need to help their child develop healthy sleep habits and get the rest they need for optimal growth and development.
